Brave Shores Return With Sophmore Album 'La Hoo La La'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today Canadian synth-pop duo, Brave Shores, make their return with the release of La Hoo - the first half of their upcoming full album via Universal Music. Featuring 5 songs from their upcoming full album La Hoo La La , set for release later this year, La Hoo was produced by band front man, Jay McCarrol, along with Ryan Worsley (Dear Rouge, Said The Whale), mixed by David Tolomei (Future Islands, Daughter), and mastered by Heba Kadry (Bjork, Future Islands). See below for tracklisting and download La Hoo now.

On the album, the band said: "Our new album La Hoo La La is coming out in two parts! Here is: 'La Hoo'. We hope people will enjoy listening to it. More planned this summer with performances, videos, new music and more."

The first single from La Hoo, "Cult Kids", was released in February. A follow up to their breakout single, "Never Come Down", which has reached nearly 1.5 million streams in Canada to date. The band is fresh off their tour with Born Ruffians across Ontario which includes stops in Ottawa, Hamilton, and last week's sold-out Toronto show. Stay tuned for more tour dates from Brave Shores.

About Brave Shores:
Musicians, like other artists, are sometimes daring enough to wander from their creative comfort zone - excited at the possibilities, yet unsure of what they will encounter. One such band is Toronto's Brave Shores, whose 2013 synth pop hit single, "Never Come Down", was chosen by Bell Canada to promote their Sony Xperia underwater phone. With the unexpected high-profile placement, the brother/sister combo of Jay and Stefanie McCarrol suddenly found themselves with the unique opportunity to fully explore genre that was unfamiliar, yet wholly intriguing. Knowing that the road less traveled can present both hidden dangers and unexpected pleasures, the duo consciously chose to dive into a new musical world, one filled with synthesizers and drum loops. The result is Brave Shores' music, an infectious body of work that reflects the siblings' wide-eyed exploration of an entirely new musical journey. The pair have shared the stage with some of Canada's most talented acts and have played the country's best festivals including the 2014 Pop Montreal Festival, Field Trip, WayHome Music & Arts and Rifflandia.
