Circa Survive has announced details of their first touring plans for 2011. The Doylestown, PA-based rock band will be teaming up with
Anberlin for a co-headlining run that kicks off on January 14th at
The National in Richmond, VA (see below itinerary). Foxy Shazam will be supporting on all dates. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, November 24th at 10:00am (local time to each individual venue/market). As a bonus to their hardcore fans, pre-sale tickets are available to members of Circa Survive's exclusive Creature Club now, in advance of the general pre-sale which begins at 12:00noon tomorrow, November 19th. The announcement comes as Circa Survive prepares to release a five song collection of previously unreleased material. Set for release on November 30th, "APPENDAGE" serves as an extension of their most recent full length, "BLUE SKY NOISE," featuring a number of b-sides from that album's recording studio sessions as well as a demo recording from the band's writing sessions. In other news, Circa Survive is wrapping up their highly successful headlining tour, which has sold out in nearly every market across the country. Their latest single, "I Felt Free" is currently at Modern Rock radio. An exclusive live companion video for the song recently premiered on SPIN.com.
