New York, NY. (Shore Fire Media) - "Soulful, take-no-prisoners rhythm machine" (Top40 Charts/ San Antonio Current) Grupo Fantasma is comprised of 10 road warriors, who will take their live show on the road this summer with almost 40 shows across North America and Europe.

Relentless touring and "explosive live shows have turned the group into grass roots sensations," declares Boston Globe and Austin Chronicle music critic Jim Caligiuri clamors, "The only other band I've seen get that kind of audience reaction was the Ramones…This group of enthusiastic youngsters has grown into a monstrous and masterful ensemble."

Grupo Fantasma will perform songs from their new album 'Sonidos Gold,' out June 17 on Aire Sol Records/High Wire Music on tour. The album delivers an authentic illustration of the live Grupo Fantasma experience. "One can almost picture brass-heavy opener 'El Sabio Soy Yo' and modern grupero-style 'Levantate' being played in a cantina - until they blast off in their own funkified, genre-breaking directions," Billboard said in this week's review. "For those who enjoy hook-driven songs in addition to jam sessions, those catchy anchors are there, too, making 'Sonidos Gold' accessible to more than just the cool heads."
