New York, NY (Top40 Charts) On Tuesday, January 15th at 7:30 PM, Guster will join actors Connor Ratliff (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Orange Is The New Black, Search Party) and Michael Cruz Kayne (Billy On The Street) as the special guest of their sold-out, hour long improv show, TRI: An Improv Show at UCB's East Village location. The band will participate in skits throughout the night and surprises are sure to ensue.

On Friday, January 18th at 7 PM, Guster will celebrate the release of 'Look Alive' with an evening of live music and conversation at the Strand Rare Book Room, moderated by Emmy winner Ted Allen, host of Chopped and a member of the original Queer Eye cast. The band will perform acoustic renditions of songs from 'Look Alive,' answer audience questions, and sign copies of their new record. Purchase tickets here.

'Look Alive' was recorded primarily with Leo Abrahams (Regina Spektor, David Byrne) in a vintage keyboard museum in Calgary, and perhaps because of the below-freezing weather, sees the group embracing "colder," more varied instrumental sounds more than ever before. The result is Guster's most layered, moody and brilliantly unpredictable music to date.

Paste named 'Look Alive' one of their Most Anticipated Albums of 2019, and early praise for the album has come from NPR Music, who called the title track "one of Guster's most musically sparkling pop songs," saying it "slithers with colorful, sinewy synths." The new music has also earned praise from KCRW, who named album cut "Hard Times" one of their Top Tunes, saying the track "reminded [us] of Guster's greatness," in addition to accolades from Billboard, who praised the "Hard Times" video's "dreamlike" approach.
Guster will tour extensively in support of the new album. Full tour routing below.
