'Hamilton Park' EP Available Everywhere On October 11, 2011; R&B Quartet To Embark On Nationwide 'Scream Tour' Alongside Diggy Simmons, Mindless Behavior & More
NEW YORK, NY (Top40 Charts/ Atlantic Records) Harrell Records/L7 Entertainment/Atlantic Records recording artist Hamilton Park have announced the release of the "HAMILTON PARK" EP, set to hit stores and online October 11th. The R&B quartet's 6-song compilation, their first release since signing as the first act to legendary music mogul Andre Harrell's imprint label Harrell Records, will include the debut single "Thing Called Us," the viral sensation "Computer Love," as well a modern-day version of Guy's classic, "Piece Of My Love." Additionally, last month Hamilton Park premiered the companion video for their debut single, "Thing Called Us," on BET's 106th & Park as the "New Joint Of The Day." What's more, the Atlanta-based group has been announced as one of the supporting acts on the upcoming "Scream Tour: The Next Generation," which kicks off on September 30th in Augusta, GA and wraps at the Landmark Theatre in Richmond, VA on November 20th. The 22-date tour features Diggy Simmons, Mindless Behavior, special guests the New Boyz, as well as fellow newcomers Jacob Latimore and The OMG Girlz.

While on the road, the group, who many have already dubbed "the next generation of R&B," plan to re-launch their anti-bullying campaign initially launched while on their grassroots promotional tour, which saw the guys traveling to high schools throughout the country spreading the word about anti-bullying, as well as performing during special lunchtime concerts and meet and greets with the students.

To herald the release of their self-titled EP, Hamilton Park has set plans for a pre-order campaign which includes three separate D2F (direct to fan) options including an exclusive deluxe CD bundle complete with two merch pieces, a t-shirt and rubber wrist band both donning the Hamilton Park logo, as well as instant access to view the extended version of the "Thing Called Us" video and a free tattoo sheet and poster/trading card set as a gift with purchase. In addition, fans who purchase the deluxe CD bundle will also receive access to the pre-order pass, which allows fans to unlock an exclusive piece of content each week, for 4 weeks starting September 13th leading up to the EP's release. Each piece will highlight one member of the band at length, giving fans an intimate look at the group and allowing them to discover their favorite member.

Having honed their vocal skills while singing in their church choirs, Hamilton Park are much more than just four guys who share a love for singing. They are a brotherhood born on the basketball courts of Hamilton Park Recreation Center in Atlanta. Hamilton Park, which is made up of Anthony, Mr. Marcus Lee, Chris Voice and Royce P, were discovered in 2010 by legendary music mogul Andre Harrell, through his partnership with Radio One's "Superstar Soul Search," becoming the first group signed to his flagship label, Harrell Records, an imprint through Atlantic Records. The group unfortunately missed the registration deadline for Harrell's competition, but later found themselves singing in front of Harrell, who learned about the quartet more and more as he traveled throughout Atlanta promoting the competition.

Harrell later invited Hamilton Park to perform the National Anthem at the finals of the "Superstar Soul Search," and when their rendition blew the audience away, Harrell instantly saw the potential that H.P. possessed and signed them as the first act to his new label, Harrell Records, after the group flew to New York to meet with Atlantic Records where they received a standing ovation after they performed Jodeci's "My Heart Belongs To You."

Hamilton Park successfully marries their athleticism and masculinity from their time on the basketball courts with their sense of chivalry, sensitivity and ability to tap into their emotions. In a five-year period, Hamilton Park's likability has transcended across Atlanta, drawing comparisons to hometown platinum-selling groups 112, Jagged Edge and Jodeci, gaining approval from the masses. They are the face of Harrell Records and aim to reintroduce conviction and romance to love songs, and bring back songs that appreciate women.
