LOS ANGELES (JetSpeed Records/ www.jetspeedrecords.com) - Elicit has been together since the days of 1998. The three guys met at a garbage dump while searching for opossums. The band members are Nick Jordan (Drums, vocals), Graham Smith (Bass, vocals) Leighton Fritze (Guitar, vocals). They are currently signed with a small L.A. label, Jet Speed Records.
Over the years they managed to independently release two full-length promos. This past year they just finished their self-titled record, which has met with unexpected commercial and critical success!

Their influences are very broad and too boring to mention all of them, mostly just a lot of old rock n' roll bands, punk bands, and retarded modern rock bands. They've been told that they sound like the Clash in a fistfight with Pennywise, The Misfits, The Buzzcocks, and a lot of other bands I've never listened to. Their shows are like an A.D.D. child on cocaine with lots of drum diving, spitting, and the occasional fainting. Their lyrics pertain to life situations such as Cancer, Depression, Sarcasm, Super Heroes, The Working Class, and Naked Ladies in France.

They have played over 16.5 million shows stretching from Chicago to Cincinnati. They are embarking on their first tour, which will be 3 months of driving in a van from coast to coast across the United States. Their goal is to someday rule the world iron fistedly with ferocious rock anthems and hair spray.

Courtland Tyler, Founder and CEO of JetSpeed Records Enterprises is proud to announce the cities and dates for this upcoming tour! "We were so blown away by the success the 2004 Fall Tour , we could not wait to get them back on the road!" Tyler adds, "This coming tour will provide many surprises for Elicit fans, both old and new." Dont miss the future of Punk!
