New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Audio Crush PR/ Universal Republic) - Universal Republic electro-pop act Cash Cash has just been announced as the headliner for Livingston, New Jersey's 'Love-In' on Tuesday, May 25th. The event, which takes place during the town's 15th Annual Youth Appreciation Week, is an outdoor festival with a central Respect, Civility and 'Love thy neighbor and love your neighborhood' theme.
Natives of Roseland, New Jersey, Cash Cash (Jean Paul Makhlouf-vocals, Alex Makhlouf - keyboards, Sam Frisch - bass, Anthony Villacari - drums) will hit the stage just days after returning from the band's headlining Robots in High-Tops Tour. Don't miss AOL Radio's Top 10 chart-topper and mtvU's The Freshmen video contest winning song, 'Party In Your Bedroom,' among the tunes from the band's debut album, Take It To the Floor, as they come to life on stage. You may have to battle throngs of screaming girls to get a glimpse of the action, but it will be worth the perseverance.
Among the bands joining Cash Cash at the 'Love-In' are fellow Jersey boys Someone Say Something. Radio station WDHA will be broadcasting from the hippie-themed love-a-thon, which will benefit over 25 charities, including those for Cerebral palsy, autistic children, Seeing Eye dogs and greyhound rescues. Prizes will be awarded to students for Best Hippie and Best Tie-Dye. Local stores and organizations and will participate with table displays, giveaways and wares.
