Keith Urban Kicks Of Tour With New Music!
Nashville, Tenn (Top40 Charts/ Keith Urban Official Website) Grammy Award winner Keith Urban proved his "Get Closer 2011 World Tour" is aptly named when he kicked off the more than 50 city run in Biloxi, MS last week in support of his sixth CD Get Closer with an all new stage production. Featuring a main stage as well as four smaller platforms that bring Urban out into the audience, the tour allows Urban to connect with fans like never before (go here to see more). Urban's spontaneity and captivating live show make the tour one not to be missed and it's already getting rave reviews from critics. To download behind the scenes footage from the tour, go!

As The Biloxi Sun Herald states, "The opening night of Keith Urban's 'Get Closer 2011 World Tour' was an electrifying three hours of solid rock rhythms and precision musicianship... Urban took the thousands of fans in attendance at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum on a ride that at times felt more rock concert than country show."

After his triumphant debut in Biloxi that left "nearly everyone on their feet" (Biloxi Sun Herald), Urban stopped in Jacksonville, FL and then Tampa Bay where he "wow[ed] the crowd with well-crafted songs, great playing and old. fashioned showmanship." (St. Petersburg Times) Full of surprises, Urban continued to please the energized crowd by walking through the audience, bringing fans up on stage and handing off a signed guitar to one lucky audience member. Once again, Urban has created a truly one of a kind concert experience for fans-

Playing songs from his latest release, Get Closer, Urban's live set featured his newest single "Long Hot Summer" which ships to radio today and his 12th No 1 song "Without You". In addition, each show featured songs from Urban's extraordinary catalogue of music including "Better Life", "You'll Think of Me", "Days Go By", "Somebody Like You", "Sweet Thing", and Get Closer's "Put You In A Song" - one of Urban's 25 Top 5 hits.
ACM Award-winning RCA Nashville recording artist Jake Owen will appear on all U-S. dates, while the Canadian leg in July will feature The Band Perry. The "Get Closer 2011 World Tour" makes stops throughout North America including Nashville, Los Angeles, Toronto, Chicago, Edmonton, Washington DC, amongst other locations-

AT&T/Samsung are the presenting sponsors of Keith Urban's "Get Closer 2011 World Tour".
