Nicole Atkins Adds More Spring/Summer 2011 Tour Dates
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Razor & Tie Media Relations) Nicole Atkins continues to tour in support of her critically acclaimed sophomore album,

Mondo Amore (Razor & Tie). The album released this past February features Atkins' powerful and hypnotic sound on the bluesy, psychedelic songs that showcase her stunning range. The sophisticated batch of new songs reveals her growth as a singer songwriter.

Nicole took SXSW by storm this year, playing parties for Paste, Rolling Stone, Steve Madden and Sneak Attack, as well as an official SXSW showcase which was broadcast on Last Call with Carson Daly. Atkins debuted her music on Conan in February as well.

*Ms. Atkins has the air of a New York rock chick supreme.* New York Times

*She has a huge, rangy voice flecked with soul that sounds great atop broken-bottle slide blues.* The Los Angeles Times

*Nicole Atkins returns with gripping ferocity on Mondo Amore.* Paste

*A sound that mixes the weepy, swaying balladry of Roy Orbison and the blues-rock of Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith.* New York Times

*If you ever wondered what Kelly Clarkson would sound like channeling Roy Orbison, this big lunged Jersey girl provides the oft-thrilling answer.* SPIN

*A velveteen warmth, longing and sultry vulnerability, Atkins' voice is a corker; as if Loretta Lynn, Stevie Nicks and PJ Harvey were reborn inside a spunky young woman from Neptune.* Sentamentalist

*A soulful, captivating show, with a lush, dark wall of sound behind Atkins' wailing vocals of love gone bad. The audience stood transfixed and some surely joined a growing list of devotees.* Time Magazine *Ten Acts That rocked South By Southwest*

*Poured herself into the dark torch song *Hotel Plaster,* praying for a lover's embrace while stuck in a hotel room, then later she was Janis Joplin's big-winded kid sister, wailing on an extended blues solo.* SPIN Selected as *The Best Live Band* of SXSW
