Simon Lynge, now based in the U.S. will join UK artists Gabby Young and Lana on tour of the UK in late
September and October. The dates land in the middle of Lynge's US/Scandinavian tour.
Simon, an indie artist who's songs from his debut CD "A Beautiful Way to Drown" can be heard on XM radio among others, was invited on the UK tour by Gabby Young after she happened to hear his music in her manager's office.
Prior to the dates in England, Simon will perform at a number of house concerts in California, Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles on Sept. 24 and several Danish dates. After the UK Simon returns to Denmark then will play New York and more US west coast dates.
Ms. Young, an indie artist of headline status in the UK fronts the seven piece band And Other Animals, brining the world gypsy, folk, rock and jazz. England's "Daily Echo" points out Gabby is "reminiscent of Tori Amos and at times, Jeff Buckley. Gabby's unique voice lends power to the band's unique brand of alternate rock".
Lana's debut Single has already received extensive play on BBC 6 Music and is not out until October 20th. It features the lead track 'Don't Call Me Baby' bringing out Lana's Latin vibrancy.
