Massive "Look Out"!! You're about to celebrate history with another milestone in Reggae music. The Sly & Robbie 25th Anniversary Tour 2004 is on the road coming to your city soon. The Grammy-winning drum & bass duo Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare are coming to 'bless up' your city with Half Pint and Tony Rebel, BluFox and other musical celebrity guests.
Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare's musical endeavors have been recognized by the international music fraternity and fans worldwide. These lovers of music are the original pioneers of Reggae laying down the foundation of the music. They are Jamaica's first group to be nominated for an "R&B" Grammy and a Best Reggae Album Grammy winner for their "Friends" CD release in 1998.
With no introduction needed, joining with them on stage is the prolific song writer and singer, Half Pint, who is also celebrating his 21st year in the music business. He is recognized for a string of hits, covered by famous artists such as Rolling Stones and Sublime.
Also appearing is veteran singer and hit-maker, Tony Rebel, who has introduced the Reggae world to his culturally unique "singjay" style. Tony Rebel is responsible for the hit song, "If Jah Is By My Side", which is considered the national anthem for conscious reggae. Also performing is up and coming female reggae singer, BluFox, an artist on the verge of super stardom, will accompany this package tour of Reggae Veterans.
