LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Rock Ridge Music) - Singer-songwriter Tony Lucca has inked a deal with the management arm of Rock Ridge Music. He joins Sister Hazel, Ernie Halter, Pat McGee and Andrew Hoover on the company's management roster.
Says Rock Ridge Music president Jason Spiewak: "I'm very proud of our new working relationship with Tony Lucca. Tony is a monster talent with a great new record to be promoted while he's on the road with Sara Bareilles. Says Lucca about the partnership: "Jason and the rest of the folks at Rock Ridge get it. By 'it,' I mean they seem to really understand the needs of their artists, as well as the demands of the industry, and how to bridge the two in a seemingly effortless fashion. I've had the pleasure of working with them in the past and am eager to get back at it. I know things are happening when they call me."
Lucca, who has an album ("Come Around Again") and an EP ("Close Enough") already recorded, is currently seeking a label deal to release both recordings. Already a track from "Close Enough," entitled "True Story," has received five months of airplay on satellite radio. He sets out on the road opening for Sara Bareilles in mid-February (see full tour schedule below) on a trek that includes 19 dates and crosses the U.S. and parts of Canada.
Lucca is an innately gifted singer/songwriter who has written and self-produced five studio albums, three EPs, several live recordings and a popular DVD. He's won the L.A. Music Award for Best Male Singer/Songwriter. His music has been featured in film and television (including Friday Night Lights, Brothers & Sisters, Shark, Felicity and Kevin Costner's "Open Range"). Lucca has been seen on E! Entertainment, A&E Biography and performed numerous times on NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly. He's performed with notable artists including pop icons *NSYNC, Marc Anthony and Joss Stone, as well as indie favorites Josh Kelley, Jason Mraz and Bob Schneider. He's galvanized an international following and has sold out premier venues coast-to-coast, including Joe's Pub in New York and the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles.
In addition to providing support for and consultation on all aspects of artist management, Rock Ridge Music also offers management services on side projects and interests outside of band work where applicable. The management arm works to focus, connect, and create a network of all band/artist online assets, web site, MySpace page, and the artist's street team/fan community. The RRM team provides continued management of the catalog, licensing opportunities, and exposure to artist products.
