LOS ANGELES (Underoath Official Website) - UNDEROATH's headlining U.S. tour is off to an explosive start with the group's fans coming out in droves. At the tour kick off in Dallas, over 2500 fans showed up at the venue which could only hold 1200. In Houston, over 500 kids were turned away since the show had reached capacity. Tuesday night in San Antonio, nearly 100 fans waited outside the sold-out gig. In addition, the group's upcoming Las Vegas (Jillian's 4/1), Los Angeles (Henry Fonda Theatre 4/2), and Anaheim (4/4 and 4/5 House of Blues) shows have now all sold-out in advance.

Guitarist TIM MCTAGUE notes, "On last year's headlining tour we were lucky to have 100 kids a night. It's pretty crazy to now be turning away 1000 fans. We feel blessed to have the incredible fans we have and we will definitely be coming back through before the end of the year to make it up to them."

The band's breakout third album THEY'RE ONLY CHASING SAFETY has now sold in excess of 150,000 copies on Seattle indie Tooth and Nail Records and is continuing to climb Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart, jumping from No 34 to No 24 this week.

The band tapped James Wisner (Dashboard Confessional, Further Seems Forever) to produce, resulting in 10 solid tracks of mind-blowing rock laced with soaring experimental melodies and artful electronic textures.

After wrapping up the Taste of Chaos tour, the band is now in the midst of a headlining tour and will appear on this summer's Vans Warped Tour.
