Biography

Granit Musa (born 6 March 1993), professionally known as Azet, is a Kosovo-Albanian rapper from Dresden, Germany. He is part of the Dresden rap crew 'KMN Gang', which also includes the rappers Nash, Zuna and Miami Yacine.

Azet's parents came from Kosovo to the Dresden district of Prohlis. In elementary school, he met Ali and founded in 2010 the rap crew KMN. Azet was initially called Azphalt, Ali, now known as Nash, called himself then Achillez. A short time later, Zuna also joined the crew. Azet was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison for drug trafficking and assault in October 2015 and the sentence started in November 2016.

With the song "Patte fliesst", Azet in the end of December 2016 was part of the German single charts for the first time. With "Nummer 1", a collaboration between Azet, Zuna and Noizy, top 10 in Germany was reached. This single was awarded a gold record by the Bundesverband Musikindustrie and is considered a commercial breakthrough by the KMN crew. In December 2017, Azet released the single "Gjynah" (Albanian for sin). His debut album "Fast Life" was released on March 30, 2018 and reached the top position in the German, Austrian and Swiss album charts. At the beginning of April 2018, Azet was released from prison, before he was released regularly.

In 2018, Azet released his debut studio album, Fast Life, and experienced commercial success in German-speaking Europe debuting at number one on the Austrian, German and Swiss album charts. Afterwards, he collaborated with fellow Zuna on his follow-up top-ten singles "Skam koh", "Lelele" and "Hallo Hallo". In December 2018, Azet announced his first collaborative album, Super Plus, with the aforementioned rapper to be released in March 2019.
