Biography

Beatrice Egli (June 21 1988 in Pfäffikon , Canton Schwyz) is a Swiss singer and the winner of the tenth season of RTL casting show Germany searches for the superstar.

Egli comes from a musical family and has been singing since the age of nine. At 14, she began taking singing lessons and singing at folk festivals. She trained as a hairdresser and worked in this profession one year. 2011, she joined an acting training at the School of Drama Hamburg from. With her two older and the younger brother she lives at home. She has been dating since 2009.

2007 Egli met with Lys Assia on under the duo name Beatrice & Lys Assia, together they released the single Tell me where dwell the angels and the eponymous album. The duo won 21 April 2007, preliminary decision to the Swiss Grand Prix of folk music under the title Tell me where the angels dwell. At the international final in Vienna , they reached number 12 of 16, for this poor performance Egli Assia was blamed.

In the fall of 2007 she performed at the autumn festival of folk music of Florian silver iron on. 2009 Egli occurred in Musikantenstadl on and presented their title lipstick.

On 11 May 2013, she won the final of the tenth season of Idol Germany with 70.25 percent of the audience voices. With one exception, Egli received the most viewer calls on all theme shows. By their victory at American Idol, she won 500,000 euros and received a recording contract with Universal Music . Their first single by the American Idol participation is My Heart , composed by Dieter Bohlen .
The song rose in the first week No. 1 on the official German single charts in. The video was shot in Spain and this was on the 17th May 2013 premiere. On the same day her album was released happiness.
