Mr. Da-Nos (* July 14 1981 in Seuzach ; actually Roland Bunkus) is a Swiss House - DJ and producer.
Raised in Seuzach at Winterthur showed Roland Bunkus alias Mr.DA-NOS already time great interest for music. At age 7, he learned to play the violin and later followed his first performances with his own band, where he played drums and keyboard. After starting out in the RnB and Hip Hop scene, he soon discovered his passion for house music. 1996 was his first big gig as a DJ instead of the Street Parade in Zurich. From these early beginnings, it was given the artist name, because Roland Bunkus not only shares his passion for music but also for autotuning. Mr.DA-NOS is a combination of his former nickname, and the hobby NOS tuning.
In 2000 Bunkus resident DJ and remixer of the compilations of the event label "King House". Due to the resonance Mr.DA-NOS made the music as a DJ, producer and remixer to his day job and started his agency and company "Star Productions House". In 2003 he went with his single "I Promised You Anything" at # 1 on the dance charts. 2004 was Mr.DA-NOS represented the first time with his album "Groove Music" for several weeks in the Swiss charts in the Top Ten. For his video and his single "Long Train Running", he was in 2004 as Dance Award Winner excellent.
Mr.DA-NOS has been playing at the 1999 Street Parade in Zurich and is represented there by his own Lovemobile. In 2011, he was the 20th anniversary of the transmitter also anthem Events with the single Calling for Love. With his album World Tour Sydney, his appearance at the New York Fashion Week , at the Berlin Love Parade , as well as its regular events in Lloret de Mar , Rimini and Croatia, he has performed internationally. Since 2007 Mr.DA-NOS produces its own mix show on Radio 105 . This will be broadcast every Saturday evening from 19.00-20.00 clock.
Together with singer Matthew he applied for the Swiss Team Trials for the 2012 Euro Vision Song Contest go with the soul ballad Let yourself.
