Verboten Launches Sunday DJ Brunch
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Plexi PR) Indulged in some late night revelry? Verboten's got you covered, announcing the launch of its Sunday brunch series beginning May 18 in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Revive yourself in Verboten's beautiful skylit Cabaret Bar, featuring rotating art exhibits and complete with a crisp Martin Audio sound system. Verboten is breaking the mold of traditional brunch by serving food from 12pm - 8pm, catering to those who like to stay out late and still enjoy delicious brunch fare and specialty cocktails, alongside music from Verboten's celebrated artist roster.

Brunch at Verboten will feature DJs spinning from 4pm into the night. The Sunday, May 18 kickoff event features the groove-heavy deep house duo Walker & Royce and dubby-techhouse man form Circoloco Andrew Grant. Future artists include the disco-laden sets of Jozif, Lee Curtiss with his breezy techno, Dutch superstar Sander Kleinenberg, the always eclectic Tom Trago, New York dance heavyweight Justin Strauss, leading house music tastemaker Yousef, the unconventional production duo Voices of Black, and many more.

Food is under the direction of Chef Nick Grosz, a Top Honors graduate of the French Culinary Institute who cut his teeth in the kitchens of some of New York City's top kitchens, notably Momofuku and Scarpetta, before settling as sous chef at 10 Downing Food and Wine. After showcasing his abilities, Nick moved on to become the executive chef of 5 Ninth, after which he became the chef at The Norwood Club. He has also made an appearance on the Food Network's Chopped. Fluent in the Spanish, as well as the cuisines of France and the Mediterranean, Nick's seasonal approach to responsibly sourced food provides Verboten with a menu full of thoughtful, delicious meals.

Specialty drinks include a Belvedere Mango Passion Cocktail and Moët & Chandon Ice Imperial Champagne, uniquely served on ice.

Verboten Brunch will be served Sundays 12pm-8pm. Free admission. Full restaurant menu to be launched Summer 2014.
