Vinyl Floor Releases New Single "Time Your Life"

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Vinyl Floor official website) Alternative rock band Vinyl Floor announces the release of their second single, "Time of Your Life" from their not yet released new album. This release follows on the heels of the release of their first song off the album, "Change the Song."

The band calls "Time Your Life" "an uptempo rock song with a catchy riff, majestic chorus and poppy, melodic verses. With strings contributed by the Vindla String Quartet (Sweden). The lyrics are very 'carpe diem'. Seize the day!"

Bio: Vinyl Floor, formed in 2007, hails from Copenhagen, Denmark. Two brothers and a neighbor, who all grew up together in the countryside make up this dynamic alternative rock band. Having toured Japan, Germany and the UK, Vinyl Floor has played more than 150 shows and festivals since inception.

Among their accomplishments, the album 'Peninsula' found its place on the ballot for the 55th annual Grammy Awards in three categories:
Best Rock Album - "Peninsula"
Best Rock Song - "Written in the Cards"
Best Rock Performance - "What Lies Ahead"

The band has received national airplay in Denmark, as well as much airplay on college and indie stations in the US, UK, Australia and Germany. Their current single and video "Change the song" can also be found on the MTV channels online.

Vinyl Floor will release their third full-length album in October 2014. As a sneak peek, two singles from the forthcoming album have been released and are ready for radio: "Time your life" and "Change the song." The band is currently finalizing tour dates to accompany the release of their new album in October of this year.
