Lake Forest, CA (Top40 Charts/ Hourglass Independent Records) The FiiX announced today the release of their debut LP, If The
Walls Could Speak. This release occurs one day before band member DJ DeNeve graduates from Trabuco Hills High School.
"I feel so blessed to be able to graduate right as the record is coming out. As one chapter of my life is closing, a glorious new one is opening," DJ DeNeve said.
The FiiX's music blends alternative rock with an EDM vibe and Hip Hop edge, and the lyrics encourage Positive Controversy by taking on hard issues facing today's youth. Neither abortion nor suicide is taboo for The FiiX, and each song's theme will inspire reflection, conversation, and perhaps change.
"The FiiX's first single, Fool's Gold, has a great, current sound, and reflects the dangers of mindless pursuit of money above all," said Stefani Rose, CEO of Hourglass Independent Records. "Kids today need honest and wholesome role models - The FiiX fits this perfectly."
