The Oversight Premieres New Single Featuring The Dangerous Summer's AJ Perdomo
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Oversight official website) Boston alternative rock/pop punk outfit The Oversight has partnered up with BryanStars to exclusively premiere their new single entitled "Far From Gone." The lyric video, made by Jorgan Redick of Neighborkid Productions, can be viewed HERE. The track features AJ Perdomo (The Dangerous Summer) as a guest vocalist and is the title track for the band's forthcoming Gary Cioffi (Transit, Misser) produced debut EP. Drummer Josh Parra had this to say on the single, "The single is about how we all left our lives at home to pursue our career in Boston for college. Although it may seem like a struggle and was very difficult at times, we were able to find ourselves a family in one another to help us get through the difficult times. We know we always have someone or a family to turn to if we need help."

FOR FANS OF: The Dangerous Summer, Go Radio, You Me At Six
Far From Gone features five tracks that features instantly stuck in your head melodies, close to home lyrics, and intricate arrangements to provide listeners with the perfect summer release. Josh went on to discuss the rest of the EP by saying, "The rest of the songs are about Ryan Watanabe's (vocals/guitar) life and all the struggles he went through throughout his entire life including breakups, being broken hearted, and being sleepless. The album opener, "Collective," and "Far From Gone" are the songs that bring all of us together to not only help him but one another as a big family."

About The Oversight:
Hailing from Boston, the up-and-coming alternative rock/pop punk outfit The Oversight is set to become the new breakthrough artist with a sound that falls somewhere in between the instinctive approach of artists such as The Gaslight Anthem and the clever arrangements and melodies of Pierce The Veil. The band is a brainchild of a group of students at Berklee College of Music, one of the most influential music schools in the world. It is a project born out of a common desire to grow as artists and as human beings, while also making the music they love and sharing their passion with whoever is willing to listen. With the band members being so far away from their home and families, they turned to each other for support when it was needed the most. This transformed the group from a simple band to a self-created family, which would in turn become the main theme of the band's debut EP Far From Gone.
