Chicago, IL(Top40 Charts/ (We Are) Nexus official website ) With "Shamelessly" just released on July 15th it seems the train driving Nexus' music inspiration is thundering down the tracks. Just one month after the release of their third single "Shamelessly", Chicago's power EDM duo (We Are) Nexus have switched gears on fans rather quickly showing their diverse talents in full form.

With a 3/4 meter and floating sublime vocals, "Shamelessly" was certainly unconventional for the dance industry. "We knew we were taking a risk releasing an original 3/4 meter track. All dance is with a 4/4 meter. When Carmen and I look back on our career we want those "B side" tracks in our repertoire to show how diversified we can be and that we are not afraid to experiment" says Nick Gunn, Nexus producer and composer.

Fast forward a few weeks and their new release, "Better Off Without You", is being touted as their best work to date, with John D'Angelo from Club Chaos, Strictly Dance Radio saying "This is pure EDM, creative as hell".

Carmen's vocals are silky smooth with poignant verses pulling the listener close, hanging to every word. Followed by a quick attitude change reciting the phrase "I'm Better Off Without You" the listener quickly realizes this is a fun, lively track about personal liberation. The choruses are nothing but glorious, exploding with absolute vigor. Reminiscent of Cascada and maybe even a little Abba mixed in, if this track doesn't get you on your feet, then you may want to check your ears.

"I always like to tell a story with my lyrics," says Carmen Rainier, vocalist and lyricist for Nexus. "This is a song about personal liberation and moving on with your life after an unhealthy relationship. Who can't identify with that in some manner?!"

With the track queued at National dance radio through Cary Vance at Promo Only expectations are high that this single will take the duo to new heights. Remix master Dave Audé is again throwing his hat in the ring with a remix expected when the single goes to club with Bobby Shaw Promotions.

Just recently (We Are) Nexus celebrated the launch of their new fan site Nexus Nation and plan to offer some exclusives at the site tied to "Better Off Without You" over the coming weeks. Fans can sign up to be a "Citizen" and earn points to win amazing Nexus swag.

Current prizes include Scosche bluetooth studio headphones and boomBottles for some poolside music. Teasers on Nexus' Facebook indicate that a custom (We Are) Nexus mystery Apple product will be part of the giveaways as well!

Also anticipated is the one year anniversary of (We Are) Nexus where the duo intends to offer free downloads of their first break out single "It Feels So Good" which was released on August 13th, 2013. So Happy birthday Nexus!
