LOS ANGELES (AP) - While the 2nd annual
High Times Doobie Awards for Conscious
Music were cancelled due to the recent terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, D.C., the winners were announced Tuesday (Sept. 18).
Notable awards went to the Black Crowes for Band of the Year, the Wu-Tang Clan for Best Hip-Hop Album (The W), Afroman's "Because I Got High" for Pot Song of the Year (that was a no brainer!), and Monster Magnet for Best Rock Album (God Says No).
