Jamie Cullum To Preview His Upcoming Blue Note Album "Interlude" In NYC 9/29
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Blue Note Records) We are proud to announce Blue Note Records as the new US home of British jazz star Jamie Cullum. Cullum comes to New York City later this month to give a special sneak preview of his upcoming album INTERLUDE with a pair of intimate shows at the Blue Note Jazz Club on September 29. Cullum will also be opening for Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden on October 2.

INTERLUDE marks a rare focus on straight-ahead jazz for Cullum, and a return to interpretation from an artist known for writing original material that bends genres and brings new sounds and new listeners to the music. Inspired by the music and musicians he's featured on his award-winning UK jazz radio show over the last few years and his own crate digging tendencies, the album's twelve tracks avoid cliché with a fistful of less obvious songs from the American songbook along with a couple modern surprises and pair of amazing duet guests in Gregory Porter and Laura Mvula.

Released next month in his native UK via Island Records, the album will be coming in the US from Blue Note later this winter and more details will be forthcoming in the coming weeks.
