The Bay Area Alternative Fusion Group Bang Data To Release New Album "Mucho Poco"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Bang Data will release their new album "Mucho Poco", this October 14th and the band is ready to celebrate it with an album release party at the Cita Bar (336 S. Hill St ) in Los Angeles, this coming October 16.

Based in Oakland, California - Bang Data, lead by Deuce Eclipse on vocals and producer/instrumentalist Juan Manuel Caipo, have created a mix of sounds and rhythms that unmistakably has become their own by layering bi-lingual rhymes and melodies over electro-acoustic beats. The fusion of styles go from Cumbia, Reggae, Ska to Hip Hop & Rock. Deuce and Caipo are joined by Michael Cavaseno on guitar and Marco Guzman on bass.

The new album "Mucho Poco" is the follow up to 2012's critically acclaimed "La Sopa" which included the self-titled single "Bang Data" featured on AMC's hit TV Drama Breaking Bad. La Sopa was the album that defined Bang Data's ability to mash-up styles without limitations.

"Mucho Poco" refines their style even more and offers 10 songs, among them "Amor Califas", a thumpin' samba-electro-cumbia take on Dr. Dre's & Tupac's "California Love" celebrating Latino leaders and life in Califas. "Candela" a hypnotic beat with fearless rhymes makes you move as the chant "La Candela, prende la vela..." surrounds you.The title track "Mucho Poco" opens another dimension for the band breaking it down acoustically with in-your-face vocals and a touch of melodic emotion.

Songs from "Mucho Poco" can also be heard on thew new El Rey Network series "Lucha Underground" out this fall. Bang Data will be appearing on the first two episodes as well in. The album includes special guest appearances by Chico Trujillo and Wil-Dog of Ozomatli, Colombia's Alguacil & Binghy Fyah, Hector Guerra and Karl Perrazzo of Santana.

On stage, Bang Data take the songs to a whole other level when performing live. The energy and power of the band pushes Deuce Eclipse singing and flow even further including the occasionally freestyle.

"We are really excited to play at La Cita" say Caipo, "this is where we played for the very first time in L.A back in 2010 when we released our EP!"

Bang Data has performed a guest band with Calle 13, Cafe Tacvba, Ozomatli, Nortec Collective, among many others.

"Mucho Poco" hits all digital music online retailers on a October 14th but will be available for "pre-order" beforehand on Itunes. Physical copies of the album will be available for FREE at La Cita with ticket purchase.
