Eagle Rock Now The Exclusive TV Distributor For All Universal Music Audiovisual Programming
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Eagle Rock Entertainment, the world's leading producer and distributor of music programming for TV, theatrical, DVD, Blu-Ray and digital media, has today announced that it is to be the exclusive global distributor for television for Universal Music Group's audio-visual content and catalogue.

Today's announcement follows the acquisition of Eagle Rock by UMG in April. Effective immediately, Eagle Rock is now handling all television sales worldwide for a whole range of original and compelling programming from superstar performers and recording artists developed or released by UMG and its labels. These include the incredible and much anticipated new music TV special, 'Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga: Cheek To Cheek', and a brand new Bryan Adams' concert from Canada.

Other titles from UMG's catalogue that are now exclusively handled by Eagle Rock for television include classic live concerts and music films from artists including The Who, Roger Waters, The Eagles, Rod Stewart, David Bowie, Bon Jovi, Johnny Cash, Sting, Santana, Dire Straits, Joe Cocker and Kiss.

Additional titles will be added to the Eagle Rock television catalogue as rights revert back to Universal Music.

Andrew Winter MD of Television Eagle Rock said: "Since becoming a part of the Universal Music Group it is an exciting opportunity to bring all of the great titles across from the UMG audiovisual catalogue together in one place for global television distribution. We're delighted to bring this first slate of programming to market now with more titles from UMG's historic catalogue and new productions rolling-out over the course of the next year."
