Eagle Records presents 'The Go-Go's: God Bless the Go-Go's' on November 2nd

NEW YORK (Eagle Records) - The Go-Go's hold a unique place in pop music history not only as the the first all female band to top the U.S. album charts, but the the first to pave the way for future girl bands. They were a staple of 80's pop music and the MTV generation.

God Bless The Go-Go's, originally released in 2001, was their first album of new material since the 1984 release Talk Show. Produced by Sean Slad and Paul Kolderie (Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Radiohead, Hole) this 13-track album is a work by the group of classics for the 21st century.

The Go-Go's led by Belinda Carlisle, who later launched her own successful solo career, recorded several 80's classic hits such as: "Vacation," "We Got the Beat," "Head Over Heels," and "Our Lips Are Sealed."
