Karrin Allyson Sets Busy Touring Schedule, Will Preview Tracks from Upcoming Album of Originals
Singer/Pianist Also Plans to Revisit Her Holiday Classic 'Yuletide Hideaway' as Christmas Season Approaches
Four-time Grammy nominee, singer/pianist Karrin Allyson, has confirmed a robust touring schedule for the months ahead, with concerts throughout the United States. During her Fall/Winter tour, Allyson will preview multiple tracks from a new album of original music, currently in the works and expected to be recorded by early 2015.
Overall, the tour dates in October, November and December will offer fans a diverse set list, anchored to an introduction of Allyson's new material but also including familiar favorites. As Thanksgiving and Christmas approach, Allyson's set list is likely to shift towards a number of tunes from her acclaimed, self-released 2013 CD, 'Yuletide Hideaway'.
Another highlight of the tour -- exclusive to Allyson's stops at Birdland in New York, Catalina's in Los Angeles and The Folly Theater in Kansas City -- will be a focus on the sound of a 'classic organ trio…with a twist.' Details are below.
