Rock Band, The Egyptians, Releases New Album "Rainbowmind"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Indie Rock Band, The Egyptians, just released their 3rd studio album titled "Rainbowmind" early December 2014. This ten track roller coaster of a Jr. album encompasses everything that the Egyptians and great rock bands are known for. This latest production has a touch of an nostalgic timelessness sound which is seldom heard on the current music scene in the UK. The Egyptians state that the track "Better things" off the album is "probably their most ambitious track to date. It embodies a lot of who the Egyptians are".

The Egyptians consist of Micky Steevo, The London indie rock band's front man, and his hand selected entourage who were exposed to an assortment of rock & pop influences while growing up in the vibrant London streets during the mid 1980's and 1990's. Micky Steevo was first spoon fed on music at a young age from Owen Gray, Jimmy Cliff, The Paragons, Desmond Dekker & The Aces, Johnny Osbourne & The Sensations, The Melodians, The Uniques, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Harry J and many others that were put out by Trojan Records, a British record label founded in 1968.

Despite The Egyptians many influences, their music has its own fresh sound that stands out from the usual tunes you hear on current radio formats. Their music isn't entirely rock, nor is it pop, it sits somewhere in between the two genres. The Egyptians music could be described as dynamic rock executed with melodic touches infused with grit, compassion, and soul. The band has gigged throughout London and the UK, at various prestigious rock venues and festivals mastering their craft.

The new album "The Rainbowmind" can be heard on iTunes, Amazon and all other media outlets.
