LOS ANGELES (AP) - Jane's Addiction's Jubilee reunion tour has been extended through Oct. 29, with 17 dates finalized so far. Live and Femi Kuti will open on the tour's initial dates, with Prodigy and Stereo MCs taking over in mid-to-late October. More shows are expected to be announced, with dates running through Nov. 11.

Femi Kuti will perform on 10 dates of the trek, which begins Oct. 2 in Worcester, Mass. Live will remain an opening act on the tour's next four dates, joined by Stereo MCs. Prodigy will replace Live beginning with an Oct. 26 show in San Diego.

Jubilee will be the second reunion tour for Jane's Addiction since the pioneering alt-rock group broke up in 1991. A 1997 tour, dubbed Relapse, saw Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea replace original group member Eric Avery. Avery again refused to participate this time around; instead, Martyn LeNoble, of frontman Perry Farrell's post-Jane's band Porno For Pyros, will take over bass duties.

The new lineup has played a handful of shows in the past few months, including a performance in April at the Coachella Festival in Indio, Calif. In August, the group also reprised its minor MTV hit "Been Caught Stealing" at the network's 20th anniversary celebration at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom.
