NEW YORK (J Records) - On the heels of her Oscar victory earlier this year, singer Annie Lennox recently wrapped up the Sacred Love tour, with Sting. Critics and music fans across the country were treated to dazzling performances each and every night by the incomparable musician and her band. Lennox projected a vast range of emotion, complexity, and power with every note.

Lennox's set lists spanned her entire career, from her first hits with Eurythmics through her latest, multi-platinum release, Bare, which earned her another Grammy Nomination. Lennox also gave the fans a treat during Sting's set as she joined her tour-mate on stage for a duet of the song "We'll Be Together."
Lennox will head back to the studio to begin working on the follow up to Bare.

Rave Reviews for Annie Lennox On Tour - 2004
Here's what some of the critic's around the country had to say about performances by Annie Lennox:

"Lennox...was a virtual whirlwind for her hour onstage. As lithe and rangy as she was in her days as a Eurythmic, the diminutive singer injected a palpable sense of drama - but not a shred of melodrama - into a set that saw her coax glowing embers into the full-fledged conflagration of "Missionary Man" and "Walking on Broken Glass." - New York Daily News

"[Lennox's] set veered from quiet seductions to defiant statements of self-empowerment... The resulting performance drew connections to the themes and sounds common to all of her music... And underscored her position as one of the most distinctive and enduring stylists of her generation." - Chicago Sun Times

"Lennox laid out a dazzling, near-flawless set that touched on almost every phase of her career...Lennox's lush vocals and savvy sense of stage dynamics as well as a perfect sound mix contributed to an exceptional performance." - Boston Herald

"[Lennox's] set put her in a rarefied leagues of pure-voiced, bluesy singers, outclassing and out-emoting any of several generations of younger divas." - San Jose Mercury News

"Lennox's voice was spectacular ...[during] her bold, confident set. She earned a much deserved sustained ovation." - Seattle Post Intelligencer

"The singer was everything you want from a superstar - captivating with her presence, owning the room with her confidence... [with] an unquestionable aura of cool." - Calgary Sun

"Lennox had spunk and verve...hers was the rare performance that started out mighty... and only got stronger and stronger... Her soulful power-ballad "Cold" couldn't have been hotter, hushing the crowd to pin-drop quiet in some parts and bringing her first standing ovation of the night." - Minneapolis Star Tribune

"[Lennox's] set was the evening's highlight. Now here's a singer who throws her every emotion - and surprising physicality - into her performance. And that wonderfully husky, soulful voice never sounded better." - Fort Worth (TX) Star Telegram

"[Lennox's] body was moving in rhythms, dancing to the soul broadcasting from her throat ... She was flawless. Fearless. The kind of rare talent that make the potential for error seem like a statistical improbability." - Las Vegas Review Journal

"[Her] performance showed Lennox to be an artist reaching the peak of her powers ... Lennox has blossomed beautifully, bringing the house down with a set full of spine-tingling R&B balladry." - St. Paul Pioneer Press
