You Don't Know Me" tells of the struggle between acceptance and moral individuality through an almost "coming of age" type story. It illustrates the victory over conforming to the common expectations and the hardships that come along with that decision. Arcade Fire and Of Monsters and Men. "Our Bodies" shifts directions with a more soothing, atmospheric vibe that is driven by a captivating chorus hook. You Don't Know Me" was mixed by Ken Andrews (Paramore, Jimmy Eat World, Beck), while "Our Bodies" and "I Was Born" were produced by Charlie Park and Nick Zagorin, who recorded all three tracks at Suburban Soul Studios.
Ela Kitapci met and befriended Taylor Morrow in 2010 the two immediately began writing music together. Playing shows as a duo at first, the two realized they would need a larger band to create the music they began to envision together.
