Etheridge to join Hollywood Rock Walk

(Launch) - Melissa Etheridge will spend July 18 adding her handprints to the Hollywood Rock Walk, the musician's equivalent to cinema's famed courtyard at the nearby Chinese Theatre. The rocker's enshrinement puts her with impressive company - previous honorees include Aerosmith, AC/DC, B.B. King, Carlos Santana, Brian Wilson, Bonnie Raitt, James Brown and Johnny Cash. Etheridge's appearance at the Rock Walk coincides with the release of her seventh solo album, "Skin," which arrived Tuesday. Etheridge kicks off the Live And Alone solo tour in support of "Skin" with three nights in Washington, D.C. beginning Aug. 6.
