PARMA, OH. (Cuyahoga Community College/ www.tri-c.edu) - The Singing Angels and the Cuyahoga Community College Western Campus Chorale will present a Holiday Benefit Concert on Friday evening, December 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the Western Campus Theatre located at 11000 Pleasant Valley Road, Parma.

Pre-sale tickets are available through the Tri-C Western Campus Box Office at (216) 987-5536. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. Ticket prices will be reduced by $2 with an accompanying donation of a canned food item. All proceeds benefit local charities and the Tri-C Liberal Arts Scholarship. All canned goods will be donated to the Berea Welfare's Food Bank.

Founded in 1964, 180 eight to 18 year-olds comprise the performing chorus known as the Singing Angels.
The group has performed with Bob Hope, Kenny Rogers, Celine Dion and numerous other celebrity performers at concerts here in Northeast Ohio and abroad. The Singing Angels is a non-profit group dedicated to youth development and community service programs that benefit local charities.

The Tri-C Western Campus Chorale was formed in the mid-1970s and has evolved with the changing styles of college music performance groups. Originally a show-choir group called "Razz-Ma-Tazz," the group took on a more traditional format in 1990. The Chorale continues its variety of performances including the Holiday Benefit Concert each December and Musical Theatre andOpera Scenes each spring.
This fall, the Chorale is comprised of all women, though the group toured Italy this summer as a mixed ensemble and will return to a mixed group in the spring.
