NEW YORK (KOCH Records) - KOCH Records is proud to announce a new deal with Diplomat Records which will extend their existing partnership and see several new, exciting albums released in 2005. The new deal will see the release of several records in 2005.
KOCH and Diplomat Records have released the successful debut album by Jim Jones, "On My Way To Church." The album debuted at No 18 on the "Billboard" Top 200 chart with 45,000 records sold the first week. In addition, Jones was named best new artist by both "The Source" and "Vibe." Also, "Diplomatic Immunity 2," a new mixtape featuring all of the members of The Diplomats, is about to be released on November 23rd.

The partnership between KOCH Records and Diplomat Records will encompass label services including distribution and marketing support from KOCH. Diplomat Records is owned by Diplomat members Cam'ron and Jim Jones.

Slated for release in 2005 are solo records by several members of Dip Set: J.R. Writer, Hell Rell, and a second album by Jim Jones. Also to be released is a Diplomats DVD and other Diplomat-related projects.

Bob Frank, President of KOCH Records, says, "This is a huge deal for us. The Diplomats are incredibly talented and we want to continue providing them with an avenue where they can excel at all they do."
