Dresses 'Let Down' EP Out October 23, 2015
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Portland, OR indie pop duo Dresses will release their new EP 'Let Down', on October 23. The singles "Frozen", "Catch" and "Let Down" are available now on iTunes.

Musicians Jared Ryan Maldonado and Timothy Heller met in late 2011 when Maldonado was on tour with a mutual friend's band. An Internet correspondence began and both expressed a desire to work on a more considered project than the various musical outlets they'd been involved in, so Dresses was born in early 2012.
The two vocalists found they harmonized nicely together and surrounded their voices with a bevy of instrumentation that they played themselves, resulting in a wide-eyed, optimistic indie sound that volleyed from folksy ballads to beat-driven party anthems. The duo worked on a series of online singles and videos before issuing full-length debut 'Sun Shy' in late 2013 via Sideonedummy Records.

"...with hooky guitars, bouncing rhythms, and a beautiful vocal presence, this uptempo number stays locked in our head. It's a sublime talent to inject light into dark places, and Dresses does it effortlessly."- Kick Kick Snare

"... great dollops of awesome."- Sodwee

"Its impeccably sunny disposition instantly put me in a better place; this tune is totally infectious." Hullabaloo Tunes

They have toured with the likes of Kate Nash, Sir Sly, Boy and Bear and Melanie Martinez, while serving as direct support for Phoenix, Fitz and the Tantrums, and more.

Dresses' music has been featured in commercials, film and TV including The Vampire Diaries, Switched at Birth and spots for Lysol. They've also received praise from outlets such as Rolling Stone, Teen Vogue, MTV, Perez Hilton, AV Club, Elle and many others.
