Sondre Lerche & Jherek Bischoff Share Christmas Song About European Refugee Crisis - To Appear On Forthcoming Amazon Music Playlist Out 11/20
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) On November 20, Amazon Music will release a holiday playlist that will be available exclusively for streaming on Prime Music and for purchase on Amazon Music. You can find the lyrics to the song at Sondre Lerche's Facebook.

More than 25 artists will be featured on the playlist including Robert Pollard (Guided by Voices), Rogue Wave, YACHT, Anna von Hausswolff, Ivan & Alyosha, SOAK, Langhorne Slim and more, singing newly writing holiday songs or new renditions of holiday classics.

"It's a simple song, projected in a big way," says Lerche. "It's bereft of irony or cynicism, and as such maybe corresponds with different eras. It's something I hope both children and adults can appreciate and feel good listening to, perhaps even sing along to. If it feels too idealistic, wholesome, even naive, that is good. I wanted the song to identify and strive for our greatest potential as human beings, even if we as individuals fail to live up to it most of the time."
