New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Latino rocker and Austin's premier electric violinist VITERA announced the forthcoming release of the Tequila Rock EP today. The long-awaited follow up to 2010's debut Súbete features five new rock-fueled, Latin-infused tracks in English, Spanish and Spanglish laced with VITERA's signature 7-string Viper violin riffs. Highlights include the hard-rocking lead single ("That's Just La Vida") and a collaboration with San Antonio's famed all-female Mariachi Las Coronelas ("Que Pasara"). The EP will see a formal release on January 5 and a corresponding Tequila Rock Tour kicks off with a performance at Historic Live
Music Venue Stubb's in Austin onSaturday January 9th. A slew of spring shows and special appearances planned in Texas, Los Angeles, Nashville and New York will follow.
