ACM Electron And Rod Stewart Release Christmas Single With BBC 6 Music

ACM Electron And Rod Stewart Release Christmas Single With BBC 6 Music
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Early December, the Academy of Contemporary Music's (ACM) Electron Choir (made up of the most talented vocalists from students across the courses and alumni) got the once in a lifetime opportunity to sing alongside legend Rod Stewart.

The opportunity arose after BBC 6 Music's Shaun Keaveny wrote a Christmas song 'Please Don't Give Me Anything For Christmas' after interviewing Rod on his radio show. The track features Mark King of Level 42 on bass, guitar by Bernard Butler (Suede/The Venus in Furs) and of course, choir backing vocals to Rod Steward's lead by the ACM Electron Choir.

Premiered on Shaun's 6 Music breakfast show on 8th December, and followed by the promo of an in-depth interview between Shaun and Steve Lamacq, the Academy are extremely pleased and welcome the success that has come after a lot of hard work by the choir.

The ACM Electron Choir is led by vocal tutor and professional vocalist Kaya Herstad-Carney. They perform original songs alongside A Cappella covers. Always looking for opportunities, and collaborations, please tweet them at @ACMelectron to get in touch.
