Drummer Adam Lewis explains of the forthcoming new material: Snakes & Ladders is our reaction to the current state of the rock scene. Bar a few exceptions it just doesnt say anything to us, and we wanted to make a record that had the same appeal as the ones we listened to growing up.
Bands like The Movielife, Brand New, The Replacements, Alkaline Trio, The Ataris, Hot Water Music those records made you feel like you belonged to part of something that was bigger than the sum of its parts, that anyone with a guitar or a drum kit could start a band and have a go.

The whole point of music for us is that its inclusive, it brings people together and theres a shared platform where artists and fans are on the same level. Just do what you like and get out there and show people."

Recently winning national plaudits from the likes of Kerrang! Magazine, Rock Sound,Big Cheese Magazine, BBC Radio One and more, COLT 45 are a testament to the phrase substance over style. Merging heartfelt, small-town frustration with melodic punk anthems and contagious hooks, the trio have worked their way up from the bottom by gigging relentlessly.

They have become pioneers for the modest Cumbrian rock scene, having recently toured Germany for the first time, have just completed a tour with The Computers, and are gathering an impressive set of notches on the touring and festival posts. More live dates and brand new material are in the works for 2016.
