NASHVILLE, TN. (Sparrow Records) - EMI Recording artists, Jump5, performed for and visited patients, families and staff of Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville Wednesday. Part of Martell Music Days, a monthly concert series that offers celebrity performances at the hospital, Jump 5 performed cuts from their latest album, Dreaming in Color, along with holiday favorites such as Winter Wonderland and Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree complete with a dance break in the middle. They later visited patients room by room, signing autographs and taking photos with patients.

Jump5 is an energetic power-pop phenomenon currently touring the nation. With the momentum built over their past five albums, this magnetic foursome has a knack for connecting with fans. Jump5 has toured with Aaron Carter, A*Teens, Baha Men and Radio Disney Live! and recently headlined two tours. Jump5's songs have landed on soundtracks of The Lizzie McGuire Movie, Ella Enchanted, Kim Possible, Brother Bear and the DVDs of The Beauty and the Beast and Lilo & Stitch (they also sing the theme song for this Disney Channel animated TV Series).

Taking a stand that's both inspirational and heroic, Jump5 continues to be at the forefront of the new OEtween' revolution setting the pace not only for their fans, but for some of their fellow artists who now present a more clean-cut image with empowering messages about self-esteem, self-confidence and the importance of being comfortable with who you are common themes that Jump5's audience has always responded to in a very big way.

Mac Cosmetics and the Martell Foundation joined forces to bring smiles to young and old alike. MAC Cosmetic artists from the Mall at Green Hills offered complimentary face painting to Children's Hospital patients. They happily accommodated all of the children's artistic requests, raising morale and adding a touch of whimsy to the event.

Martell Music Days is a program created and sustained by the T.J. Martell Foundation. The program strives to engage recording artists in the mission of the Martell Foundation and bring them into the hospital to share the joy of music with patients, families and hospital staff. The Martell Foundation has secured artists to perform monthly throughout the spring and summer of 2005.

The Martell Foundation takes a leadership role in the effort to understand, prevent, treat, and ultimately cure leukemia, cancer and AIDS by raising vital seed capital to jump-start and fuel scientific discovery in nine of the nation's foremost research facilities.
