New York, NY (Top40 Charts) ACM@Metropolis alumna Katy Hurt has just released single Love You More which soared to number 1 in the iTunes Country charts this week - topping country music greats such as Taylor Swift and Johnny Cash!

With her first single Part Time Girl Friend peaking at number two in the iTunes charts, and 'Love You More' topping the iTunes chart at the number one spot this week (alongside sitting at number forty-two in the world charts), Katy has been building huge traction for her musical career since she completed her course in March. Her fanbase is ever growing and the horizon is extreamly bright for this young country singer.

"I am so thankful and grateful to everyone who has downloaded a copy of Love You More from iTunes, taking it to Number 1. This is my dream come true. When I finished my songwriting course at ACM earlier in the year and started working full time with the team at Metropolis, I never imagined that anything like this could happen so quickly.

Its a joy to do what I do. Writing, rehearsing, performing. Meeting so many great people. Sharing ideas and hopefully bringing country music to a few new ears.
Thanks again to everyone who has helped make this song successful." - - Katy Hurt

"Everyone here at ACM including myself are thrilled with Katy's fantastic achievement on hitting the charts a second time, and now at number 1!
A great fresh new artist and talented songwriter to make us all proud here at ACM and Metropolis!
Katy is destined for great things!" - Ace, Head of Creative Industry Development, ACM / Guitarist, Skunk Anansie

Katy graduated from the Songwriting and Artist Development IQ course run from ACM@Metropolis earlier this year and since then has signed to Metropolis Music Publishing. Taught from the prestigious powerhouse studio in Chiswick (most recently noted for recording Adeles latest 25 album), the IQ course is an intensive six-month program that includes first-hand industry education in all areas needed to excel in the current music business.
