SFX Entertainment Completes Sold Out Electric Zoo Festival In New York City
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) SFX Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:SFXE), the worlds largest producer of live events and entertainment content focused primarily on electronic music culture, announced today the successful completion of the 8th Annual Electric Zoo Festival in New York City.

The three-day music festival, which took place this Labor Day Weekend, September 2-4, at Randalls Island Park in New York City, was led by a unique Wild Island theme and included over a hundred of the worlds biggest artists on multiple stages. It featured headline performances from Tiesto, Hardwell, Current #1 Billboard artists - The Chainsmokers, Bassnectar, Porter Robinson and Steve Aoki. The weekend also served as the stateside debut of legendary party experience brands ANTS and Elrow, with an electric main stage lineup.

We thank New York City and the electronic music community for another massively successful weekend on Randalls Island, said Adam Richman, SVP of Made Event-New York and Director of Electric Zoo at SFX Entertainment, Inc. SFX is proud to be a part of this unbelievable atmosphere and looks forward to the challenge of topping this weekend when we return for another festival next year.

Festival organizers, Made Event, in creative partnership with electronic music experience pioneer ID&T well-known for its cutting-edge production of events such as Mysteryland, Sensation and Tomorrowlandtook Electric Zoo into its eighth year with a walk on the WILD side inspired by larger-than-life animals. The Main Stage was a reared cobra looming over the crowd. The Riverside stage took the form of a giant octopus, while other stages included designs such a jungle and frozen tundra. Ticket holders came from 90 countries and all 50 U.S. states. Notable individuals attending the festival included actress Taryn Manning and Olympic medalist Monica Aksamit.

This was an incredibly important time for all of us as we re-imagined Electric Zoo to give the community an immersive experience, said Michael Julian, Director of Marketing at Made Event/SFX Entertainment, Inc. This festival represents the best of any electronic music event globally, while keeping our hearts rooted in New York dance floors. We met a big milestone this year and look forward to working ever harder to exceed expectations for next year.

"We pride ourselves in creating one of a kind magical moments for our fans that will impact their life in any positive way. They are our inspiration, we do it all for them," said Sebastian Solano, CEO ID&T North America. "Once more we have shown the dance music world that Electric Zoo is the flagship music festival of New York City.

ELECTRIC ZOO: WILD ISLAND generated positive reviews with press and performers alike:

"Electric Zoo 2016 is poised to take over... The festival has become an unmissable attraction on the electronic-dance-music circuit, featuring a wide range of artists both top name and underground. Vivienne van Vliet, Time Out New York (9/2/16)

Electric Zoo, the annual EDM festival that's taken over Randall's Island every Labor Day weekend for the last eight years, seems to have really hit its stride. - Scott Lynch, Gothamist (9/3/16)

Steve Aoki's 75 minute set at Electric Zoo: Wild Island was high-octane and a great deal of fun. He was authentic, unfiltered and gave the fans exactly what they wanted to hear. Markos Papadatos, Digital Journal (9/3/16)

"Perhaps the most surprising and refreshing experience on Saturday actually came the farthest distance away from the Main Stage as the hotly anticipated Ibizan experience Elrow took over Electric Zoos Sunday School Groove Stage. Having received much buzz for their curated events, which have become all the rage in Spain, Elrow boasted a curated lineup of house music acts with flawless performances by Patrick Topping, Jack Master, Eats Everything, and Bicep. Combining the intimacy of a music experience with colorful production elements, vivacious energy, and gorgeous dancers practically baring all, this was enough to push it over the top to become the highlight of the music festival on Saturday. Natalie Wicks, AXS (9/4/16)

Electric Zoo Festival was epic last night. Tisto, (9/4/16)

"Electric Zoo was a great home for our ANTS party and we can't wait to be back for more!" - Andrea Oliva, ANTS resident headliner (9/5/16)

What can I say about Elrow at EZoo??? The best party in the world, in the best city in the world. Absolutely the most fun you can possibly have. Great times with great people and an AMAZING crowd. Eats Everything aka Daniel Pearce (9/5/16)
Preparations for ELECTRIC ZOO to return in 2017 are already underway.
