SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (Kaydean Media International/ www.kaydeanmedia.com) - LaCalle Records and Kaydean Media International expect to have a busy agenda during 2005 with album releases for Latin Hip-Hop and R&B recording artists, Mente Urbana and Janid, the release of Kaydean's Transformed, film scoring and a series of concert events throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. LaCalle Records will kick off 2005 with solid plans for the anticipated album release of Latin Hip-Hop and R&B group Mente Urbana, whose debut CD is expected to be in stores this year after many delays and changes including the replacement of its original MC, Laser Rick. Mente Urbana's Janid and new member MC Pete shine in this new production which takes Latin Hip-Hop and R&B to a new level. Mente Urbana's lead singer Janid is already in the studio working on her solo album with producer Kaydean, which will be released during 2005. Janid's powerful and unique voice, beauty, charm and presence teamed up with Kaydean's infectious beats and unmistakable groves are sure to quickly position the young diva as the next Queen of Latin Hip-Hop and R&B. In 2005, LaCalle Records will expand its musical boundaries and incorporate Electronica with the re-release of Kaydean's 5th solo project, Transformed. Transformed is a continuous CD with non-stop dance tracks that covers almost everything from Breakbeat, Trance, Techno and Hard House. "Probably the most significant advancement made on this CD is the use of completely new sounds," says Kaydean. "We spent months just sitting in the studio designing sounds to be used on this album and made every attempt not to use the same sound in more than one song." Further plans for Kaydean Media International include a series of breakthrough concert events throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Also, Kaydean Media International and LaCalle Records will take a leap into film in 2005 with the soundtrack of the Puerto Rican mini-series, 'El Ultimo Caso del Detective Prado', which will also include songs from Mente Urbana's debut CD and lead singer Janid's solo album.
