Ginny Owens Re-Releases Christmas EP, The Greatest Gift, Featuring New Song Dec. 9
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Award-winning singer-songwriter Ginny Owens re-releases her acclaimed Christmas EP, The Greatest Gift, Dec. 9 on her indie label, Chick Power Music, with The Fuel Music distribution. First released last fall, the acclaimed EP features three original tracks, including the newly added song, current radio single and lyric video, "Jesus, We Adore You."

The lyric video of the song makes its debut today, premiering on NewReleaseToday.com, a site that has also nominated Owens for both "Female Artist" and "Best Indie/Artist of the Year" for its 5th Annual We Love Christian Music Awards. Music fans may vote for their favorite artists now through Jan. 27 at www.weloveawards.com.

In addition to "Jesus, We Adore You," the title track from The Greatest Gift is at radio now and is gaining spins nationally as the 2016 Christmas season unfolds. The five-song EP further features Owens' "God With Us," her rendition of the seasonal favorite "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and her jazzy, contemplative rendition of "Christmas Time is Here."

In keeping with the "Spirit through the year" so aptly shared in the lyrics of "Christmas Time is Here," Owens announces her first charity initiatives stemming from the release of her 5-star-acclaimed and ninth studio album, Love Be The Loudest, which is in stores now.

"Love Be The Loudest is an album about love's incredible power to conquer the darkness, and to bring about hope and change," says Owens. "But there's no time to only sing about love; we must go live it! That's why a portion of every sale of the album goes to support the work of organizations loving and serving hearts in need, both locally and around the world."

Initially partnering with Compassion Internationaland The Next Door, Owens invites everyone to join her in participating in these missions.

"We're supporting Compassion's Health and Nutrition initiative, which provides children in need with the means to live a healthy life - clean water, disease prevention, and care for illness and disabilities. We're also helping connect sponsors with children who have been waiting the longest.

"The Next Door ministry serves women who are battling addiction," continues Owens, "some who have just come from prison, and others who would be headed down that path without intervention."

For more information on these charities, as well as other mission initiatives from Owens to come soon, visit https://lovebetheloudest.com/.

"Together, let's let LOVE be the loudest voice!" exclaims Owens.

Working for the first time with well-known producers Rusty Varenkamp (TobyMac, MIKESCHAIR, Jason Gray), Chad Copelin (Ben Rector, All Sons & Daughters) and Josh Bronleewe (We Are Messengers, Natalie Grant), Owens' Love Be The Loudest moves into new musical territory, combining her signature, thoughtfully-crafted lyrics with pop and electronic dance music. It also features Collaborations with Mike Weaver (Big Daddy Weave), Ellie Holcomb, Meredith Andrews, All Sons & Daughters and more.
