 NEW
YORK (Silver Plastic Records) - The Indie-Friendly Radio Database,
developed by Silver Plastic Records to promote their own releases, has
been published for anyone, including other independent labels and
musicians, to use in any way. The Indie-Friendly Radio Database (IFRD) contains almost 1200 stations, all of which are open to and play independent music. Available
under a Creative Commons license, the IFRD has information about
broadcast and internet radio stations in the United States and abroad.
Users can search for stations in their states, cities, near their ZIP
codes, or download all records to their favorite database program. "We
wanted to share this wealth of information with our fellow indies,"
said David Anderson, owner of Silver Plastic Records. "We think it's
important to give back to the indie community." The URL for the Indie-Friendly Radio Database is: https://www.silverplasticrecords.com/ifrdSilver Plastic Records releases hand-crafted, short-run CDs by electronic musicians.
