SAN FRANCISCO (INgrooves/ www.ingrooves.com) - Digital record company, INgrooves, announced today the creation of a mobile-only music label, "INgrooves Mobile Music" to release music, including exclusive and custom ring tone content, through a number of wireless distribution outlets. INgrooves Mobile Music has already signed hits from a number of award-winning labels and their artists including: D-Block (The Lox), The Crystal Method, Thievery Corporation, Grandaddy and Felix da Housecat.

"The mobile music market is already a significant part of our business in many territories and we are very excited about the growth that is taking place in the US. INgrooves provides great opportunities for our artists and their music, publishing and distributing ringtones and offering other creative mobile products to US music fans."

INgrooves expects many other artists and independent labels to sign with their INgrooves Mobile Music group to gain access to the valuable promotional exposure and revenue potential of mobile distribution. INgrooves Mobile Music has secured guaranteed features for its artists and labels with a number of leading mobile storefronts including Dwango Wireless, 9 Squared (RealTone JukeBox and https://www.RingToneJukeBox.com) and Hudson Entertainment (The Source Mobile).

"INgrooves Mobile Music allows us to interact with D-Block's fans over mobile so we can let them check out new music, pictures and video of the group," commented Supa Mario, D-Block's President & CEO. Artists and independent labels will still be able to sign up with INgrooves for internet distribution as well, but can now choose to sign solely for mobile distribution. "We want to give creators and owners of music as much flexibility as possible when it comes to digital distribution," said Robb McDaniels, INgrooves' CEO.
"INgrooves has leveled the playing field with the majors when it comes to internet and digital distribution of music and I think we are well positioned to effectively serve the artist community."
