New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Lil Uzi Vert is fresh off the release of his highly-anticipated new album, Luv Is Rage 2, and it looks like he is already back in his bag. The Philly MC recently uploaded something new to his Instagram account that suggests he could be working on the sequel to his hit project, Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World.
Posting a teaser of the song, the shoulder-shimmying MC added a caption of emojis that indicate the sequel might be on its way. "Just A Vibe💨," he wrote. "👨🏾🎤vs🌏2(r) ? 🙄."
"What, you thought I wasn't gonna come through?" he sings on the track. "What, you thought I wasn't gonna get comfortable / You know I wouldn't do this if it was true / I know what I can and what I can't do / I know every time that I'ma come through."
Uzi's prolific streak doesn't end there. Recently, one of his heroes, Marilyn Manson, revealed that he will be in the studio with Vert. "He wants to do a rock album next, and I would love to see that happen because I think that he could make a new thing," he said. "Not some rock/rap type of thing, something special and new that I think needs to be created just to fuck the world up more.
"I think that if I had to pick what Lil Uzi Vert should be, if he's involved in rock, it's an early Bad Brains or Faith No More, but with a catchier element," he added. "I think he has punk rock in him. He's a lil' crazy motherfucker. And good. Smart as fuck. He has an attitude like I did, and I like that about him."
