community teams together to help tsunami victims in Asia? When the
Phoenix music community teams together to help tsunami victims, and
does it by holding a benefit concert with almost every genre of local
music represented � also when the headlining band is such a big name in
local music. DesertGirl Promotions and Creamy Radio, working in
conjunction with Lucky Man Productions, are proud to announce the
Arizona Tsunami Benefit Concert on February 13 at the Marquee Theatre
in Tempe. Music will be from an entirely local lineup including Shawn
Johnson and The Foundation, Tramps & Thieves, and headlining act
the Phunk Junkeez. Doors will open at 4:00 PM with music
starting at 4:30. Two stages are going to be holding ten of the
Valley's top musical acts. The main stage will be filled with sounds
from funk to acoustic rock, while the second stage will be a more
intimate acoustic setting. A raffle and silent auction of local music
collectibles will also be held at the concert to raise additional money
for the victims. People who don't attend the show will still be able to
