New York, NY (Top40 Charts) In celebration of the record-breaking success of Marvel Studios "Black Panther" movie, music producer ADUM⁷ (fka MeccaGodZilla) releases a brand new tribute EP titled "Wakanda Forever." Heavily inspired by the Ryan Coogler film, ADUM⁷ took to the keyboard to express sonically his appreciation for the film.

"While taking the film in, it's hard to not think about black excellence and how things could be if some of our movements were not infiltrated and destroyed. It also makes me think about all of our current grassroots movements that have amazing core ideals and missions. Many of them are on the verge of greatness that can be scale not just in the local community but globally…all it takes is just a few more resources to level up further and have a scalable social impact worldwide. This film really triggered that parallel for me. There's a ton of work to be done but the sense of the power of community and collective efforts in this film are keys that I look forward to seeing actualized in our own community off screen." -ADUM⁷

The 7 song instrumental EP is a dedication to some of ADUM⁷'s favorite characters in the film, notably King T'Challa, Shuri, Killmonger, Nakia, and Okoye played by Chadwick Boseman, Letitia Wright, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o and Danai Gurira.

"Shuri played by Letitia Wright really did it for me. There's something about her balance of strength, intelligence, witty jokes and innocence that really did it for me. After leaving the movies I just couldn't stop thinking about her role and how our younger sisters and cousins must have perceived her. With that in mind, it's only right that I give back a portion of the proceeds an organization of choice, that being Black Girls Code. I loved the physical strength, grace and skill of both Nakia and Okoye as warriors but I love that Shuri repped for the warriors that are skilled with ingenuity to fight with their minds. I think Black Girls code would be a great choice to send album proceeds to! The Black Panther Challenge funded many to be able to go see the film, in honor of that energy I want to send funds to an organization responsible for teaching our young sisters how to get busy with coding and technology!" - ADUM⁷

Although this EP is free, if you are inspired to pay for it, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Black Girls Code. Black Girls Code is a not-for-profit organization that focuses on providing technology education for African-American girls.
