New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The 18th annual Florida Music Festival & Conference will once again play host to hundreds of emerging talent in the heart of Downtown Orlando, offering local music fans free admission to all venues, compliments of the Downtown Development Board and Miller Lite. From May 10-12, crowds will be entertained by a diverse lineup of artists as buzz bands from NYC and Nashville make the trek to Central Florida to participate in the weekend-long festival. The festival is accompanied by a music industry conference on Friday and Saturday. Artists, students and industry professionals will get a chance to hear from an EDM legend, as James "Disco Donnie" Estopinal is set to be the keynote speaker.

When asked what festival attendees can expect this year, festival organizer Sean Perry of Axis Promotions said, "It's exciting to have the opportunity to showcase so many amazing young Florida based artists to the attending music industry. This year may be the most diverse group of future stars representing all genres and regions of the stage." Featured artists include Orlando's own pop Spotify sensation, JOHN.k, Nashville's alternative garage rockers *repeat repeat and over 100 other artists from Indie, Country, EDM and Americana.

The festival will also bring back the popular Blue Man Group Drum-off, where talented drummers compete for a prize package which includes a DW drum set, in front of celebrity judges which will include Evanescence drummer Will Hunt, and members of Universal Studios' elite Blue Man Group.

On Friday, May 11, and Saturday, May 12, the conference panel portion of the festival will take place at the new Ace Cafe Orlando, where music business professionals from every facet of the industry will share their advice and anecdotes with artists and students from UCF, Full Sail and F.I.R.S.T. who have been invited to attend. Past panelists include Kevin Lyman, Founder of Warped Tour, and Jonathan Mayers, Founder of Bonnaroo.
